Sea Bear - Creature Design Project

Here's the creature I worked on for my Creature Design exam for the Concept Art course I'm attending. We started by merging some already existing animals, in this case I chose bears, sea slugs and seals, we tried different combinations and adapted the creature's features to the environment. Then we made different variations and after deciding the final design we made some attitudes and a final complete illustration. I've never drawn animals that much before this exam but I really enjoyed working on this. We also made the 3d model of our creature for the Zbrush class.
